Building MyPuck Rent-A-Goalie: A Journey Through SDLC and Agile

The development of the MyPuck Rent-A-Goalie app was meticulously executed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile framework, complemented by DevOps methodologies.

The process began with thorough requirement gathering and analysis, where we engaged with potential users to understand their needs. This was followed by a detailed design phase, creating a scalable backend with a robust API-first approach and an intuitive front end using React Native for a seamless user experience.

During the development phase, we adopted Scrum with two-week sprints, allowing continuous feedback and iterative improvements. Integrating CI/CD pipelines facilitated efficient build, test, and deployment processes, with automated testing ensuring high-quality code.

After rigorous testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), the app was deployed to staging and then production environments, supported by monitoring tools for performance tracking and user feedback collection. The result is a high-quality, user-centric application that boasts efficiency, scalability, and high user satisfaction, exemplifying the effectiveness of combining SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
